This installation is born from my research on Carl Jung’s Red Book, particularly his reflections on embracing and confronting the shadow. The work speaks not only of recognizing this shadow, but of releasing it—allowing it to remain in the past as a presence that shaped me, yet no longer defines me. Like the memory of someone who has passed, it never fully disappears, but it must be left in peace so that I may continue forward.

The figure, wrapped in an intense red skin, embodies both the weight of memory and the act of liberation. The shadow traced on the ground is a silent witness, a body left behind, reminding us that letting go is not erasure but transformation.
