This sculpture critiques the contemporary demand to be productive, visible, and approved. The colander hat, a kind of "tin hat," suggests a futile defense against imposed ideas. The figure, with calmly interlaced hands and exposed breasts, embodies the paradox of performative vulnerability. In an era where we display our lives in exchange for likes, this grotesque and childlike character reflects the constant exposure of the body and intimacy as currency for social validation.
