This sculpture embodies the concept of ézer, an ancient Hebrew term often translated as "helper," but which in its truest sense, represents strength, mutual support, and an essential bond. It speaks of a symbiosis that transcends dependence, highlighting the balance that arises from a partnership of equals.

A man sits in quiet contemplation, yet from his head emerges the image of a woman. She is not an external addition, but a manifestation of his inner world — thought, spirit, and presence. The woman is not subordinate, but complementary, illustrating the idea that one cannot exist fully without the other.

Ézer is not a passive form of help; it is a powerful, active force that both challenges and nourishes. Through this piece, I explore the concept of selfhood not as an isolated entity, but as an interconnected whole, where inner balance is achieved through the dynamic relationship of these two forces.

This sculpture invites the viewer to reflect on how symbiosis within the self can be a source of strength, harmony, and growth
